Job and Business Data

When you use the app, you may enter:

• Job details (names, dates, addresses, notes, contact information)
• Estimates and invoices (line items, pricing)
• Expenses (descriptions, amounts, categories)
• Payments (amounts, dates, notes)
• Photos (job site photos you upload)

This data is created by you and stored to provide the app's core functionality.

Device and Usage Information

We collect basic device information to improve the app experience:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version and build number
• Locale and timezone
• Screen dimensions
• General usage events (e.g., features used, session activity)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the app's core features (job tracking, estimates, invoices, expenses, payments, and photos)
• Verify your identity via SMS when you log in
• Process and manage your subscription
• Improve the app based on usage patterns
• Diagnose and fix technical issues

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean. Photos are stored in DigitalOcean Spaces (encrypted object storage). We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and token-based authentication to protect your data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share your data with the third-party services listed above, and only as necessary to operate the app.

When you use the "share" feature (e.g., sharing a job summary with a client), a link is generated that allows the recipient to view only the specific information you chose to share.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Update or correct your account information within the app
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data (job data can be exported as CSV from the app)

8. Children's Privacy

ChambaDesk is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Location Data

ChambaDesk does not collect GPS or precise location data. Any addresses stored in the app are entered manually by you and are not used for tracking purposes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
